WEEDMAT
Weedmat is a strong woven polypropylene fabric that is used extensively in nurseries, landscaping, commercial horticulture and domestic gardens. It controls most weeds by providing an actual physical barrier and blocking the light required for weed growth. It reduces the need for expensive and potentially damaging herbicide sprays. Weedmat allows water and air to move through to the plant roots to maintain optimum growing conditions. It provides a more hygienic plant environment by reducing the spread of pests and diseases from surrounding weeds. It also helps prevent ponding on the surface so it cuts down the risk of waterborne diseases spreading from one plant to another. Weedmat also reduces evaporation from the soil surface. The amount of water needed is significantly reduced and so are irrigation costs. Weedmat is UV stabilised for long life.

POLYFLUTE
Polyflute is a one-piece process extruded sheet consisting of two flat skins connected by vertical ribs. Made from polypropylene co-polymer, it has physical durability and chemical resistance properties that make it ideal for a range of uses. It is UV stabilised.

WINDGUARD (use for windbreaks, rack mesh)
A windbreak can provide a dramatic improvement in crop yield and quality by reducing wind speed through your crop. Even low wind speeds will stress a plant, particularly in the establishment years. Cold winds can slow growth, delay maturity and reduce yield. Hot winds can increase moisture loss, reduce fruit size and increase irrigation costs. A windbreak does not occupy much space and does not compete with your crop for water, light or nutrient. It does not harbour pests and diseases. It simply provides an improved microclimate for crop production and pollination. A windbreak provides maximum protection when it is positioned at right angles to the wind direction and should be at least twice the height of the crop it is protecting.
